We found Suzi a snowy night in late April living in
the window well in our backyard.  A week and a
half later she had to have an eye removed.
Unfortunately, the remaining eye has problems
too.  The eye specialists says there was
developmental problems and the eyes didn't
fully develop.  Apparently, it's very rare and
could require eye surgery.   She gets eye drops
daily and the specialist is monitoring the eye.
Suzi's now about 7.5 months old and she's a very
happy kitten.  She loves to play chase and hide
and seek.   She's very vocal and requires lots of
attention, when she's not sitting on her
scratching post watching the action in the
courtyard.

I LOVE my kittens. OK they are four years old
now, but they are still my babies. My husband
rescued them for me, for my birthday. Simon is
sweet and lovable and so talkative. He wakes us
up every morning by giving us little 'love bites' on
our ankles. Sasha, our little priss, she is very
particular about how she is picked up, how hard
you pet her etc. She knows that she rules the
roost. We too this picture just shortly after
moving to London. They were still adjusting to
their new home, but they loved the windows. Now
on the cusp of moving back to the States we are
looking forward to our new adventure.

We would like to submit the attached photo of
our cat, Domino Durrett. He's two years old and
he runs our house. When he walks in the room, all
attention is on him. We don't own him -- he owns
us. Every morning he drinks water from the sink
faucet and expects that we will always know when
he is ready for his morning drink. We have three
other cats, and though he gets along with them,
he will not participate in 'play' with them. He's
much too sophisticated for that. He also expects
that we should understand if he jumps on the
counter, he's ready for us to give him a treat
(which is kept in the cabinet) If we don't respond
fast enough, he's figured out how to open the
cabinet and get it himself.

Feast your eyes on my adorable kitty. 'Twiggy
the Tigress' (aka Twig). We took her in after
finding her looking for shelter from the rain in an
old pink doll house. She was ill and injured, but
after a few visits to the vet and, sadly, a lot of
medication, Twiggy was back to her usual tigress
ways. She absolutely detests being alone and
loves to wrestle with hands, feet, and her
now-shredded toy mice. Twiggy also never says no
to a game of hide-and-go-chase, in which she hides
around the corner and peaks at your, ready t
pounce and chase you around the house!

April was born on the night of April 6th, 2008 on
the bed of a truck outside of a warehouse.  It
was sleeting all night long, and when we found her
the following morning, she was nearly frozen!
After being thawed out with a hair dryer and fed
with a dropper, April began to bounce back.  One
year and several months later, she is a healthy,
happy member of our family.  April enjoys playing
with milk bottle caps and watching birds play
outside!

Hi My name is Gracey and I am very special .

On November 5th of this year I was rescued by my new
owner Tricia ... I was dehydrated had not had food in a while
according to the doctors and was very scared ..I dont know
how I got to the place I was as it was on a dirt road and I
mainly lived in a bush where I learned how to survive...
My new owner immediately took  me to the vets office and
had me all checked out I had  blood work done they looked in
my ears and mouth they even listened too my heart ..I was
purring so much the doctor could not get an accurate reading
..I guess I was just overwhelmed and thankful.
I am very special not only from being rescued , but also I am
going to be a new mom myself .. I am 7 wks into gestation and
I am feeling very good ..I am gaining weight and drinking lots
of water ..I have my own private room , set up with  a birthing
bed for when it is time for me to go into labour .. ( thanks to
my Auntie Mar from Buffalo Ny )  I get lots of love and
praise and also play alot ....
I am very thankfull for being rescued and I know I have been
placed in a very good home where after my babies are born I
will get to meet my new brother Traynor and sister Patch ..I
can hardly wait ...
Thanks for reading my story , and I want to wish everyone
and all pets a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year ,,

PS .. Santa has found homes for all my kitten babies I am
thrilled

Stella is a 10 year old Calico who is
always on a quest for inside the house
adventure. In this picture she is
finally taking a break in her basket.
Stella was rescued by an organization
in Boynton Beach FL called Sad Sac
(Save a Dog - Save a Cat). I was told
she and other kitties were rescued
from a Crack House.
Stella has been in my life for 10 years
and she never ceases to amaze me.

Macallan and Leopold have graced our
lives for the last six years. Born
rescue kittens in a trailer park in
Surprise, AZ, they've grown up in
Scottsdale, and have adapted
remarkably well to a pampered,
indoor-cat lifestyle!
