By submitting images for Kitty of the Month, you agree to the following:

• You are the pet owner and currently hold all rights to the photograph you are submitting.
• You are at least 18 years of age.

Kitt(ies) of the Month - June 2010

For the month of June, we couldn't help ourselves and had to choose the two kitties, Dmitri and Sammy! Thanks, Brianna, for giving us a great "picture story" with your feline companions.

My cats are the love of my life.They mean everything to me. They are always around when I need them. They are completely crazy when it come to cat treats; both of them get extremely excited and their pupils dilate - it is so funny to see. Aside from their craziness they are amazingly smart and sweet cats. Both of my cats were rescued from a no-kill shelter in El Paso, Texas, called the Animal Rescue League. They have been the greatest companions one could ask for. I always encourage people to adopt because a cat will always be your friend for life, even when people come and go.

Kitty of the Month - May 2010

We adopted Maui from a cat rescue organization two years ago. She has brought so much joy to our lives. She enjoys laying in fresh laundry right out of the dryer and playing with her toy mouse. She always comes when she's called. She's a bit finicky when it comes to treats and food. What can I say...she knows what she likes and that she'll probably get it. I truly can't imagine having a better cat.

Kitty of the Month - April 2010

Baxter was brought to us at just 4 weeks old by the neighbor girl in a cardboard box. They found him inside a tractor and his mother wouldn't take him back. So we fed him with a syringe for the first week, taught him how to go to the bathroom and how to use a scratching post.

At 8 months now, he's proven himself to be a tried and true barncat! He eats everything he can get his paws on, he loves water to the point of trying to get in the shower with you, and spends his afternoon doing his best to catch all the bugs and birds in our back yard. We call him the mini-lion! Basically he cracks us up daily! We decided not to declaw him - it just doesn't seem right - so the scratchers are oh so necessary! I just found your site, and as soon as my husband goes back to work, a cat tree is first on the list! Hope you like the photo, it's my personal favorite!

Kitty of the Month - March 2010

Wally was found at around 6 months old in a Wal-Mart parking lot hungry, tired, and barely able to walk. We took him in, got him back in good health and he's been a little troublemaker ever since.

Wally's a sweetheart - kooky and crazy as can be. His best friend is a Miniature Pinscher named Pookah and they're always trying to find new ways to cause chaos around the house. Wally fancies himself a mighty hunter. When in the backyard he will stealthily and skillfully stalk bugs though, when he goes in for the kill, he flails wildly and just looks goofy. Pookah even tries to help him in his hunting endeavors.

Wally is the best cat we've ever had and I've ever known. He's our little Wal-Mart special!
